Four DRobotics has been awarded a contract to develop a prototype system to increase operational safety of snow plows.  Snowplow operators are on the road day and night in winter conditions when road markings and boundaries are often obscured. There is a significant cost to a municipality when these machines damage property or when snowplows are damaged by objects a driver could not see. This project will identify sensing solutions that can improve safety and decrease the cost from damage to the plows and property damage to the public.  There, will be more announcements to follow stay tuned to this blog.
