Protection of Surveillance Recordings via Blockchain-Assisted Multimedia Security

A paper co-written with Carleton University entitled Protection of surveillance Recordings via Blockchain-Assisted Multimedia Security has been accepted for publication in the International Journal of Sensor Networks.  This is a peer-reviewed Journal that sets high standards for the quality of work.  This work was a result of an R&D contract award from the Department of National Defence IDEaS program (Innovation for Defence Excellence and Security).  IDEaS is competitive. The proposal was developed and submitted by Four DRobotics at that time known as Cohort Systems Inc.  The contract was completed via a collaboration between Cohort Systems Inc. and a research group from Carleton University led by Dr. Richard Yu.  The main result of this work was the development of novel algorithmic technics that detect in real-time tampering of multimedia information transmitted on secure communication networks. four DRobotics plans to incorporate results from this research into its autonomous patrol vehicle products. More information about IDEaS can be found at this link. https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/dnd-mdn/images/ideas/20181202%20-IDEaS-Generic-Deck-Updated.pdf.
